Laboratory

    Rio Pecos Medical Associates' laboratory is a CLIA-approved high complexity laboratory.  We meet or exceed all federal regulatory guidelines.  As a Physicians' Office Laboratory our laboratory procedures are performed exclusively for patients of this practice.  Our full service laboratory covers all aspects of testing, from the simple pregnancy test to tumor markers.  We employ three medical technologists, one medical laboratory technician, 2 phlebotomists, a receptionist and a clerk.  The total patient care experience of the lab employees exceeds 50 years. We are proud to serve our patients needs.
