With the help of a state of the art Lunar Prodigy Densitometer, we're able to measure the lumbar spine, hips and appendicular skeleton for Osteoporosis.  If you're post menopausal or have a family history of osteoporosis, the International Society for Clinical Densitometry strongly recommends a bone density examination.  All Bone Densitometry studies at Rio Pecos are interpreted by an ISCD certified physician, our own Dr. Mooney, and performed by our staff of one board certified radiology technologist, Pat Stuart, and are accredited by the American College of Radiology, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and licensed by the state of New Mexico Environment Improvement Agency.
