Rio Pecos Medical Associates, LTD. offers an ultrasound department that is highly efficient in  meeting the needs of the Southeast region of New Mexico.  Our exams cover the areas of obstetrics and gynecology.  We have the ability to perform real time scans and Doppler flow studies.  Both an internal and abdominal probe are available.  All examinations are interpreted by one of our own board certified physicians.

    For the obstetrical patient, we are able to scan as early as five weeks in the pregnancy to detect problems and perform in-depth studies for those in the second or third trimester of their pregnancy.  We perform biophysical profiles on those patients that require this service.  Ultrasound guided amniocentesis is available.  The gynecological patient can have ultrasound studies to help with the diagnosis of postmenstrual problems, fibroids and infertility complications.

     Services are provided Monday thru Friday.
